Great 3 night bag, fits in tin cans!
I've had this bag for a few weeks now and have used it for a couple of business trips so this is an initial impression. I am an IT consultant that travels by plane for work almost every week on a Monday-Thursday schedule. For this schedule I think this bag is near perfect.
I can place three dress shirts, one pair slacks, and one casual shirt on hangers in the main compartment. Then fit four pairs of underwear, undershirts, and socks in the zippered pouch at the bottom. Ties and other accessories fit well in the zippered pockets in the top by the hangers. This then does a quick fold down and I can add my laptop, charger, and a magazine to the outside pocket. This also means I can pack for the week in about five minutes.
With all of the above I have confirmed that this fits without issue in the tiny overhead bin on a CRJ-200, CRJ-900, and even the tiny ERJ-145 that doesn't usually fit anything larger than a backpack. That is impressive and the true reason for this bag. I'm able to avoid gate checking my bag which often saves me ten minutes each way and can make the difference in making a tight connection or catching the train into work.
Overall fit and finish on the bag also seems to be great. There are pockets and zippered compartments everywhere so you can keep everything very organized in this bag. The ballistic nylon and zippers used seems like they will hold up well. The wheels roll VERY well (much better than my Tumi), I'm not sure if this is due to the wider wheelbase, taller wheels, or high quality bearings but they work. The handle also goes up and down very easily and is plenty long for me at 6'1" tall.
Limitations - it is possible to over stuff this bag (I've found this to be especially true if I try and add spare shoes). If you over stuff it you may find it hard to zip shut and it may no longer fit in the tiniest of overhead bins. Also, it really is a 4 night maximum bag as it just won't hold enough for longer. But if you need a bag for 1-3 night business trips it is very hard to beat. I also bought the micro-shirt bag but haven't tried it out yet.
